ITEAA is organising our fourth ITE Alumni Care Day with our inaugural “Singapore Discovery Tour with Seniors”.  This event is organised in collaboration with ITE College West, Fei Yue Active Ageing Centre (Teck Whye) and Friends of Singapore Discovery Centre.

The event provides an avenue for our members to volunteer in the community and also serves as a social and recreational activity to engage the Seniors.

We invite members and their family members above 12 years old, to join us by befriending the Seniors, accompany the Seniors during the Eco Tour, helping to serve food and drinks, mingle and talk, or put up performances for the Seniors during the event.

The tour will begin with an introduction to the concept of sustainability and its importance in today’s world. We will see first-hand how SDC reduces its carbon footprint and adopts sustainable practices, such as using renewable energy sources. We’ll also learn how to use water bottles to do simple workouts. Each participant is to bring two 500ml water bottles for the sustainability workout.

Join us on a journey with the Seniors to discover how Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) promotes sustainability and combats climate change.
